"The office wasn't knowledgeable, but the State Farm price was amazing, and I figured what the heck. Two years later I decided to go with another company for my car insurance and stick with them for my home. I was supposed to be reimbursed for the days that I already paid for. That refund never came. Instead, I received a bill 7 times what my home policy was. When I called, their head of billing Emily told me I would have to pay, and then they'll reimburse me. I explained to her that's not how it works and she basically turned into a teenager, hung up on me and wouldn't answer my calls. I had to call 30 times off 3 different lines to finally get an answer. Surprise surprise, Emily wasn't available and neither was Seth. The gentleman on the phone told me they couldn't provide me with my previous bills without consulting with each other, so I called corporate, and they agreed with me. On the spot, they reimbursed me and switched my agent. I find it odd that me, a regular person, knows the contract better than the head of billing. State farm is great but you should find yourself a different branch."

"I've waited for over a year to put in this review. One star is a gift, if I could do zero stars I would. I am a 30+ year customer of State Farm. My agent retired and I was switched to Seth's office. I've been through one other transition to a new agent and it was seamless, and I thought this would be the same. I didn't have a lot of dealings with this office, but when I did, I found the office staff were not particularly knowledgeable or helpful. It would take multiple calls to get a response to basic questions. When I asked to speak w/ Seth, he was always unavailable in the moment. Always. I know people are busy, but I would expect a call back within a day or two. Never happened. I had to call back and follow up to get an answer. Here's just one example- I received a letter from State Farm saying they needed to take photos of my home. I called the office to ask why, as it was a brand new 3 year old home. Nobody was able to give an explanation as to the reason for having to take these photos, or who was actually taking them. They were unsure if it was a State Farm employee or a contracted individual. I explained that I wanted to schedule this appointment to be there when someone came onto my property. I just didn't want someone that I didn't know walking around my house. I was curtly told this was not possible. The staff threatened that I could lose my homeowners insurance if I didn't allow someone on my property to take the required photos. My daughters are customers of State Farm as well, and were switched to Seth's office too. My oldest daughter called to ask about adding her fiancé to her car insurance policy. Kind of a basic insurance question. It took her over a month, and at least 4 follow up phone calls from her to finally get an answer to that question. She purchased a new home and was trying to work though what she needed for insurance but found Seth's office to be unhelpful. The bottom line is this office is not attentive and could care less about your questions or needs. My thought was how helpful would they be should there be a major problem? I didn't want to find out and switched agents. I have been very happy with the customer service with the new agent. He reviewed my policy, made some changes and saved me money w/o sacrificing coverage. Save yourself a hassle and choose a different office/agent."
